Both Varsity and JV Baseball Teams started out their season this week with wins.

On Monday, the Varsity baseball opener brought a win for the Jags with a final score of 12-2. We saw a strong showing on the mound for starting pitcher Sam Katz; great at-bats for Nile Kennedy, Byron Brinkley and more. This team is going to be great: a deep lineup and good defense makes for this win and more to come!

On Tuesday, the JV opener brought another win for the Jags, this time by mercy rule in the 4th inning with a final score of 15-0.  Bryce Johnson had a strong pitching debut, backed up by a solid defense.  On offense, base running was the highlight of the night.

Please come join us for Varsity Home Games tonight vs Miller Grove (5:55pm) and on Friday vs North Atlanta (5:55pm).  JV will play away tomorrow night at Mays (5:30pm).

Gate fees for all games are $2 adults and $1 for students.  Concessions are available for purchase as well.  See you there!
