Jack Breedlove spends his practice time preparing and perfecting his craft. It’s all in anticipation of a chance to help his Maynard Jackson win their upcoming playoff game against Miller Grove. He hit a 50 yard field goal at Wednesday’s practice, not bad for a kid who kicked a football for the first time just two years ago.
A chance opportunity to kick one through the uprights at the College Football Hall of Fame in 2015 piqued the 17-year old’s interest and the rest is history.
Jack got better quickly. Converting the majority of his field goal attempts and registering an impressive 70 percent touchback rate on kickoffs.
